How we tested
We buy every vaporizer ourselves at retail and use each one hands-on for two weeks. We check displayed temperatures against a thermocouple, time heat-up with a stopwatch and count sessions per charge from full to empty. Each review gets a score across five weighted categories: vapor quality 30%, ease of use 20%, value 20%, build quality 15%, portability and features 15%. When we retest or prices change, the review's dated update log says what changed, as in our Fury 3 review.
How we testWhat Is a Vaporizer?
A vaporizer heats cannabis flower or compatible concentrates to release cannabinoids and terpenes for inhalation without intentionally burning the material. Controls range from digital settings to manual heating. Overheating can still cause charring or combustion.
Portable Vaporizers
Battery vapes you can pocket. Most heat in under a minute, and the Fury 3 is ready in about 20 seconds. Pick one if you use away from home even occasionally.

Desktop Vaporizers
Vaporizers designed for home sessions, usually with mains power. Depending on the model, they use balloons, a whip, or direct draw. A good choice when portability matters less than your preferred session style.
