About VapeExperts
VapeExperts is an independent cannabis vaporizer review site. We buy every vape ourselves at retail, publish scores anyone can recalculate, and compare prices across retailers so you pay less for the right one.
We've tested 50 vaporizers the same way: at least 14 days of daily use, thermocouple checks wherever a vape shows a temperature, battery cycles to depletion on battery-powered models, and heat-up timed with a stopwatch. No review samples, no loaners, no paid placements.
Why Pen Names
Cannabis still carries legal consequences and professional stigma in most of the world. We publish under pen names to protect ourselves and our families. The backgrounds and credentials below are real. The names are not. We think that's a fair trade, and we'd rather be upfront about it than pretend.

What We Bring
Hands-On Testing
Every vape gets 14+ days of daily use. We check temperatures with a thermocouple, time heat-up, run battery cycles to depletion and photograph the spent cannabis so you can judge extraction yourself.
Photography
Our photographer shoots the vapes we buy: loading, spent cannabis, side-by-side size shots. Where we use a maker's image or an illustration, it's there to show a detail our photos can't.

Having tested 50 vaporizers means every new review benefits from direct comparison. We know exactly where a vaporizer sits in the market.
How Our Scores Work
Every vaporizer gets a 0 to 10 score in five categories: vapor quality (30%), ease of use (20%), value (20%), build quality (15%) and portability or features (15%). The overall score is the plain weighted mean, with no editorial bump for anyone. See the weights and a worked example.
When a firmware update, a price change or longer use changes our view, we update the review and add a dated entry to its update log, so you can see what changed and when. See it in practice: our Venty review shows its "How we tested this vape" box and every dated update.

We buy every vaporizer at retail with our own money. No review samples, no loaners, no paid reviews, and no manufacturer sees a review before you do. Our reviews combine hands-on testing with manufacturer documentation and cited sources.
