Released in 2021 as an upgrade to the legendary 2014 original, it combines hybrid heating with an 11-session battery and a build certified to the UL 8139 and IEC 60335-1 safety standards. Newer portables like the Venty 9.2 have since pushed the category forward with faster heat-up and adjustable airflow. The single included dosing capsule is enough to test the system, but anyone who prefers capsule loading will want a set of extras. The USB-C Supercharger, which gets you to 80% in about 40 minutes, is sold separately. At this price point, it should be in the box. A filling aid isn't included either. It's the tidiest way to load the oven, so it goes on the same shopping list as extra capsules.

The 242 g body stays comfortable through long sessions
The shell is heat-resistant plastic, while the cooling unit on top is PEEK (polyether ether ketone), a tough thermoplastic also used in aerospace parts. At 140 × 80 × 30 mm and 242 g, it's among the larger portables on the market. Pocketing it works in a jacket or cargo pants, but this vape is more comfortable in a bag or resting on a table.
Angled heat sink fins running along both sides serve a dual purpose: they improve grip and channel heat away from the shell. The exterior stayed comfortable to hold even deep into our longest sessions. The bright orange power button and up/down arrows are tactile and easy to locate by feel. A front-mounted LCD display shows current temperature, set temperature, and battery level in a clean, no-nonsense layout.
The cooling unit sits on top and swivels open with a quarter turn to expose the ceramic-coated oven. Every cooling unit component is replaceable, and previous-generation Mighty cooling units are fully compatible. Small integrated feet at the base let the Mighty+ stand upright with a slight backward lean, though stability on uneven surfaces is limited.

Hybrid heater produces dense, full-flavored vapor from the first draw
The Mighty+ uses Storz & Bickel's patented hybrid system. Conduction from the ceramic-coated oven walls heats cannabis on contact, while convection from heated intake air passes through the chamber to extract from all sides simultaneously. In our testing, this dual approach extracted evenly with no stirring needed.
Heat-up to 180°C takes about 60 seconds, a little longer at higher targets, on a low battery or in a cold room. Settings span 40°C to 210°C in 1°C increments. That's slower than most modern portables.
The trade-off is immediate payoff: when the Mighty+ vibrates to signal it's ready, the first draw is full-flavored and dense. Many faster-heating vapes need 2-3 draws to reach peak vapor production.

The cooling unit earns its keep across the temperature range. Vapor travels through a maze-like path inside the top cap before reaching the mouthpiece, arriving noticeably cooler than the setting would suggest. Draw resistance stays low and natural, more like breathing through a slightly restricted straw than fighting for airflow.
At higher temperatures near 210°C, clouds thicken visibly and the vapor gets a little harsher. Even so, it stayed smoother than most portables at the same setting in our sessions. Terpenes come through cleanly at lower temperatures around 175-185°C, where the hybrid system gently extracts flavor before conduction heat builds for fuller clouds. The 0.3 g oven handles anything from a light microdose to a full pack, and most sessions finish in 8-12 draws.

The Mighty+ packs two built-in 3300 mAh lithium-ion cells that powered through 11 sessions on a full charge in our testing. Total runtime lands between 60 and 90 minutes depending on temperature settings, with higher temps draining the battery faster.

USB-C charging is standard, but charge speed depends on your power brick. By our estimate, a basic 5 V/2 A charger takes about 120 minutes for a full charge. Storz & Bickel's optional 45 W Supercharger gets you to 80% in roughly 40 minutes. Any USB-C PD charger that supplies 15 V/3 A, paired with a USB-C-to-USB-C cable, also enables pass-through operation. That lets you vape while plugged in, even with a dead battery. The display briefly shows "dct" to confirm it, and the batteries don't charge while the heater is running this way.
The batteries aren't user-replaceable, so replacements go through Storz & Bickel's service center. The warranty covers 2 years, plus a third year if you register within 4 weeks of purchase. Normal wear and the batteries themselves fall outside that coverage.
Simple button controls need no app or technique
The Mighty+ is the easiest portable we've handed to first-time vaporizer users. Twist open the cooling unit, drop ground cannabis into the oven, close it, and hold the power button for half a second. The display shows current and target temperatures while the vape heats, and a vibration signals when it's ready.
Temperature adjustment uses two physical buttons with responsive clicks. No app, no Bluetooth, no smartphone required. Everything lives on the vape itself.
The SuperBoost double-tap and triple-tap shortcuts make temp stepping intuitive: start at 180°C for flavor, then boost when vapor thins to finish with full extraction. Loading is just as simple: grind, funnel, close, done.

Cleaning the oven itself takes seconds: once the vape has cooled, brush out the chamber and screens with the included tool. The cooling unit needs a proper clean whenever you see residue, and never leave it dirty for more than a week.
Take it apart, pull off the cap lock, and soak the parts in isopropyl alcohol for no more than 30 minutes. Rinse them under running water for at least a minute and let everything dry completely before you heat it again. The body only ever gets a wipe, never a soak.
