Airflow and draw: the Venty's biggest win
The Venty's airflow dial turns from nearly closed at mark one to wide open at mark three, where there's almost no draw resistance. Marks two and three gave us the fluffiest, coolest vapor. A built-in flowmeter also reads your inhale and adjusts heater output to match, so gentle sips and full lung pulls both produced visible, flavorful clouds.
The Mighty+ draw is low and natural, like breathing through a slightly restricted straw, but you can't open it up. Its maze-like cooling unit keeps the vapor noticeably cooler than the setting would suggest. For most people, the Venty's open draw is the reason to pay $50 more at list price.
Vapor quality: close, with an edge to the Venty
Both run Storz & Bickel's hybrid heating with a 0.3 g oven and a 40-210°C range in 1°C steps. The vapor is nearly identical: fluffy, consistent and evenly browned without stirring. The Venty scores 9.5 for vapor quality against 9.2, helped by faster temperature recovery between draws.
The Mighty+ counters with an immediate payoff, because its first draw is already dense when it buzzes ready. Both have a boost shortcut that adds 15°C for 90 seconds, then a second step for another 15°C. On the Venty you double-press the power button for each step; on the Mighty+ you double-tap for the first and triple-tap for the second. Battery and charging
Both vapes gave us 11 sessions per charge, and both reach about 80% in 40 minutes on a fast USB-C charger. A full charge takes about 90 minutes on the Venty and about 120 on the Mighty+. Neither box includes Storz & Bickel's Supercharger, so factor one in. The Mighty+ adds pass-through operation on a 15 V/3 A USB-C PD charger, so it runs on the cable even with a flat battery. The Venty can't be used while it charges, and neither battery is user-replaceable.
Size and portability
The Venty is the easier one to carry, scoring 8.8 for portability against 7.5. It's taller at 157 mm, but only 55 mm wide where the Mighty+ spreads to 80 mm, and its tapered body grips well and stands upright. The Mighty+ is 10 g lighter at 242 g, yet its width makes it more of a bag or tabletop vape. Neither disappears in a jeans pocket. For that, look at the Veazy, Storz & Bickel's smallest portable.
Build and value
The Mighty+ wins one category, build quality, at 9.5 against 9.3. It's certified to the UL 8139 and IEC 60335-1 safety standards and has years of proven reliability behind it. The Venty's 2023 launch was marred by E04 error codes, which Storz & Bickel addressed with firmware updates and warranty replacements. Both carry a 2-year warranty, plus a third year when you register within 4 weeks.
