The Mighty+ is the better Storz & Bickel portable, scoring 8.7 to the Crafty+'s 8.2 in our reviews. It leads on vapor, build, ease of use and value, and it runs much longer between charges. Pick the Crafty+ if a pocket-size vape matters more to you than any of that.

Mighty vs Crafty: vapor and flavor
Both vapes use Storz & Bickel's hybrid heating, where a ceramic-coated oven heats your cannabis while hot air flows through it. You get the same flavor character and the same even, no-stir extraction from both.
The Mighty+ sends vapor through a maze-like path in its cooling unit, so it arrives noticeably cooler than the setting suggests. On our scores, it leads for vapor by a full point.
The Crafty+ still makes smooth, fluffy clouds for a vape this small, with a low draw that feels like breathing through a wide straw. Both hit fully from the first draw, and both take the same dosing capsules.
Controls: buttons or an app?
This is the difference you feel every session, every day. The Mighty+ has an LCD that shows the set and current temperature, with two buttons for 1°C steps. There's no phone, no Bluetooth and nothing to pair.

The Crafty+ has one button and three presets: 180°C, 195°C and 210°C. Hold the button to start at the base temperature, double-click for Boost and triple-click for SuperBoost. For anything in between, you open Storz & Bickel's web app in a Bluetooth browser. The Crafty+ remembers what you set, so most owners set it once and put the phone away.
We still prefer buttons on the vape itself, and the scores agree: the Mighty+ gets 9.0 for ease of use against 8.5.
Battery and charging
The Mighty+ carries two built-in 3300 mAh cells and got 11 sessions per charge in our testing, 60 to 90 minutes of total runtime. The Crafty+ has one 2800 mAh cell and got 5, or 3 to 4 if you live at 210°C. That's the biggest practical gap between them. If you vape more than a few times a day, the Crafty+ will send you to the charger by midday.
Charging is closer than it looks. The Crafty+ reaches 80% in about 80 minutes and is full in about 120. The Mighty+ takes about 120 minutes on a basic brick, but Storz & Bickel's optional Supercharger gets it to 80% in about 40.
The Mighty+ can also run while plugged into a USB-C PD charger that supplies 15 V/3 A, even with a flat battery. The Crafty+ won't heat on the cable at all, so you charge it between sessions. Neither battery is user-replaceable, so worn cells go back to Storz & Bickel's service team.
Mighty+ vs Crafty+ size and carry
At 135 g and 110 mm tall, the Crafty+ slips into a jacket pocket and barely fills your palm. The Mighty+ is 107 g heavier and 30 mm taller. It fits a cargo pocket, but it's happier in a bag or on a table.
That gap is the Crafty+'s whole case, and it's why it leads on portability (8.8 vs 7.5). If you mostly vape at home, the size difference barely matters.
Know one more thing before you buy. Storz & Bickel is phasing the Crafty+ out, and its retail partners say current stock is the last.
What about the original Mighty?
The 2014 Mighty makes nearly identical vapor to the Mighty+. The Plus added USB-C charging, a ceramic-coated oven, a 60-second heat-up (down from about 90) and SuperBoost. If you already own a working original, there's little reason to switch to either Plus model. If you're buying new, get the Mighty+.
Which should you buy?
- Home and all-day users: the Mighty+, for cooler vapor and far longer runtime.
- Group sessions: the Mighty+, since 11 sessions per charge outlast an evening of passing it around, and the screen shows everyone the temperature.
- Pocket carry: the Crafty+, the only one of the two that pockets comfortably.
- Tighter budgets: the Crafty+, $120 cheaper at US list price and a good buy on sale.
- Buttons over apps: the Mighty+, with every setting on the vape.
