The Venty is the better vaporizer, scoring 9.2 to the Veazy's 8.3 in our reviews. It beats the Veazy on vapor, airflow, ease of use and build. The Veazy makes sense if you want Storz & Bickel vapor in a front pocket for $200 less.
Key differences
- Airflow: the Venty's dial opens up to 20 L/min; the Veazy is fixed at 10 L/min.
- Heater: the Venty's heater draws up to 130 W and adapts to your draw speed; the Veazy runs a 36 W mini-heater.
- Controls: a display with + and - buttons on the Venty; one button, three steps and a web app on the Veazy.
- Heat-up: rated at about 20 seconds for the Venty and about 40 for the Veazy.
- Size: 134 g for the Veazy against 252 g for the Venty.
- Price: $249 US list price for the Veazy, $449 for the Venty.
- Warranty: two years on both, plus a registration year on the Venty.
- Water pipe: the Venty works with a water pipe adapter; the Veazy doesn't.
Veazy vs Venty: vapor and airflow
Both use Storz & Bickel's hybrid heating and the same 1.4 cm³ oven size, which holds about 0.25 to 0.3 g of ground cannabis when loosely filled. Fill either one that way and you get fluffy, evenly browned vapor without stirring, so the gap only opens up when you inhale.
The Veazy's fixed airflow gives the draw noticeable resistance, so you pull slower and more deliberately. Its compact cooling unit also runs the vapor slightly warmer than S&B's larger ones.
The Venty's dial goes from nearly closed to wide open, and at the top it feels like breathing through an open straw. Its flowmeter reads your inhale and matches heater output to it. We alternated gentle sips and full lung pulls in one session, and every draw produced flavorful clouds. That flexibility earns the Venty a 9.5 vapor score against the Veazy's 8.2.
Ease of use and controls
Neither vape needs a phone day to day. The Venty shows its temperature on a screen, and the + and - buttons change it in 1°C steps. The Veazy runs on one button and starts at 180°C. Double-click for Boost at 195°C, then again for Superboost at 210°C.
For exact temperatures, the Veazy needs Storz & Bickel's web app in a Bluetooth browser. On an iPhone that means a Web Bluetooth browser like Bluefy, since Safari won't connect. The app also turns on Permanent Boost, which stops Boost dropping back to base after 90 seconds. Checking its battery means reading LED blink patterns, while the Venty shows six bars on its screen. These are small things, but you notice them every day.
Battery and charging
The Venty runs on two built-in 18650 cells, the Veazy on a single 1600 mAh cell. In our testing that meant 7-8 sessions per charge from the Veazy at 195°C, about 40-45 minutes of vaping, against 11 from the Venty at 199°C. Light users at two to four sessions a day won't mind the Veazy's battery; heavier users will want the Venty. Neither heats while it's plugged in, and neither battery is user-replaceable.
Both reach about 80% in 40 minutes, but they need different chargers: a 5 V/3 A adapter for the Veazy and a USB-C PD charger of 27 W or more, like Storz & Bickel's Supercharger, for the Venty. Neither charger comes in the box. The Veazy's side-mounted port lets it stand upright while charging, a small touch we liked.
Size, build and price
At 134 g and 37 mm wide, the Veazy slips into a front pocket without a second thought. The Venty weighs 252 g and stands 157 mm tall, so it's a jacket or bag vape. That's why the Veazy leads slightly on portability, 9.0 to 8.8.

The Venty's $449 US list price is $200 above the Veazy's $249. That money buys the open airflow, the adaptive heater, the screen and an extra warranty year when you register. The Veazy counters with four colors and a body that's easy to forget you're carrying.
Which should you buy?
- Daily users at five or more sessions: the Venty, for 11 sessions a charge and effortless draws.
- Two to four sessions a day: the Veazy, whose 7-8 sessions a charge cover that with room to spare.
- First Storz & Bickel on a budget: the Veazy, with hybrid vapor for $249.
- Pocket carry: the Veazy, which fits a front pocket.
- Group sessions: the Venty, since beginners get a good hit with no technique.
- Big, open draws: the Venty, with airflow the Veazy can't match.
The Venty tops our best portable vaporizers ranking, while airflow and battery keep the Veazy off it. Our dosing capsule guide explains how capsules speed up reloads on both.
