The Veazy is our pick, by a tenth of a point: 8.3 to 8.2 for the Crafty+. Both use Storz & Bickel's hybrid heating and the same 1.4 cm³ oven, and vapor quality ties at 8.2. The Veazy lists $30 lower, heats about 20 seconds faster and ran 7 to 8 sessions per charge in our testing against 5 for the Crafty+. Take the Crafty+ if you want the most open, coolest draw, or if you find it on clearance below the Veazy.

- Battery: 7 to 8 sessions per charge for the Veazy in our testing, about 5 for the Crafty+.
- Draw: the Crafty+ draws low and open. The Veazy's airflow is fixed at 10 L/min, which feels tighter.
- Shape: the Veazy is slim at 37 mm wide and 134 mm tall. The Crafty+ is shorter and stubbier at 110 mm tall and 57 mm wide.
- Heat-up: listed at about 40 seconds to 180°C for the Veazy and about 60 for the Crafty+.
- Availability: Storz & Bickel is phasing the Crafty+ out.
- Colors: the Veazy comes in black, blue, orange and pink. The Crafty+ is black only.
Vapor and draw feel
The ovens are identical: 1.4 cm³, ceramic-coated and about 0.25 g loosely filled. Both mix conduction from the oven walls with hot air pulled through the load. Vapor comes out fluffy and evenly extracted from either vape.
The difference is in the draw. The Crafty+ felt like breathing through a wide straw, and even at 210°C its cooling unit kept vapor smooth. The Veazy needs slower, more deliberate pulls, and its vapor ran slightly warmer for us. Our draw technique guide helps if you're used to open-flow vapes.
Controls and the app
Both are one-button vapes with three heat steps, from 180°C up to 210°C. Hold to power on, wait for the green light and buzz, then double-click to boost. Ease of use ties at 8.5.
Storz & Bickel's web app unlocks 1°C steps across 40-210°C on both, plus boost and LED settings. Neither has a screen, so the Veazy reports battery through blink patterns that take some decoding. The app shows more detail on either vape.
On the Veazy, Boost and Superboost drop back to base, 180°C out of the box, after 90 seconds. Switch on Permanent Boost in the app to keep them.
Battery, charging and portability
The Veazy wins on battery. In our testing it ran 7 to 8 sessions per charge at 195°C, while the Crafty+ managed about 5. Neither lets you vape while plugged in, and neither battery is user-replaceable. Our full Veazy charges took 75 to 90 minutes, and S&B quotes 80% in about 40 minutes with a 5 V / 3 A charger. The Crafty+ needs about 80 minutes to reach 80% and about 2 hours to fill.
Weight is a wash at 134 g and 135 g, so shape decides portability. The Veazy scored 9.0 to 8.8, and it slides into a front pocket more naturally. The stubby Crafty+ sits well in a jacket pocket. The Veazy's side USB-C port also lets it stand upright while it charges.
Value and build
Value is the clearest split: 8.0 for the Veazy against 7.0 for the Crafty+. It lists $30 lower and does the same job. The Crafty+ scored higher on build, 8.5 to 8.0, with a PEEK body whose fins keep the shell comfortable through back-to-back sessions.
Both carry a two-year warranty with no bonus year for registering. Storz & Bickel is phasing the Crafty+ out, and retailers say current stock is the last. Loading is identical, and our dosing capsules guide covers whether capsules suit your routine.

- Best value at list price: the Veazy, $30 less with 7 to 8 sessions per charge against 5.
- Lowest price today: the Crafty+, while clearance stock sells under the Veazy.
- Open, easy draws: the Crafty+, with its low draw resistance.
- Slim front-pocket carry: the Veazy.
- A faster start: the Veazy, about 40 seconds to 180°C against 60.
- Water pipe sessions: the Crafty+, with S&B's water pipe adapter (sold separately). The Veazy has no adapter.
- Already own a Crafty+ or Mighty+: keep it. The Veazy gives you the same vapor in a slimmer body, not better vapor.
- A bigger battery and a screen: neither, so look at the Mighty+, which takes the same capsules.
