A 246 g metal puck, designed in Canada
The Tafée Bowle 2's puck base is machined from a metal alloy. The puck alone weighs 246 g and measures 77.5 mm across by 40 mm tall, so it's compact in every dimension except shape. The stem and cup add height and weight. Nothing else in the portable category looks like this.
Two buttons on the front handle all controls: a larger concave power/fire button and a smaller convex temperature button. You can tell them apart by touch alone, which matters when the drinkware blocks the green LED indicators. Tafée designs and assembles the Bowle in Canada from local and imported parts, one of only a handful of portables built there.

The vapor path runs from a food-grade ceramic pot through a cooling stem to the mouthpiece. In our sessions, all we tasted was the cannabis.
The optional drinkware cup fits around the puck and stem and stays outside the vapor path. You don't need it to vape. We tested primarily without the cup, using the Stubby Stem for a more compact footprint. The cup adds a layer of stealth, looking like an ordinary travel mug from across the room. For hot drinks, use Tafée's mug made for them rather than a standard cup. Tafée makes the drinkware in 250 ml, 300 ml and 400 ml sizes, including a hand-blown glass version. Keep alcohol out of it: Tafée says alcoholic drinks can damage the Bowle and void the warranty. Assemble the Bowle before you pour, and keep liquid out of the stem.

Pure convection heating delivers top-tier flavor
The Tafée Bowle 2 uses 100% convection. Press the fire button and the LEDs turn green in about a second. Inhale right away: hot air flows through the ceramic pot as you draw, and a breath sensor shuts the heater off when you stop. Don't keep firing it without inhaling, since that can damage the Bowle.
You can also hold the fire button through the draw instead of clicking it, which Tafée recommends for battery life. Either way, keep inhaling for a second or two after the lights go out, since the pot still gives vapor. Our draw technique guide explains why a slow, steady pull works best.
Because the heater shuts off after each draw, you can take a single hit and set the Bowle 2 down for 5 or 30 minutes. Pick it back up and the next hit still tastes fresh. That makes it perfect for slow, on-and-off sessions.
Five power levels top out at 260°C. Pack loosely and draw steadily, since a tight pack or too much heat can char your cannabis.
Draw resistance is minimal. Air moves freely through the pot's mesh screen and the cooling stem, making the Bowle 2 one of the easiest-drawing convection portables we've tested. The stem's length provides enough cooling that large draws feel deceptively smooth. More than once, we exhaled a much bigger cloud than the gentle inhale suggested.
Each pot is sized for about 0.1 g, filled loosely to no more than three-quarters full. We've gone as light as 0.02 g, which makes the Bowle 2 a strong choice for microdose-friendly sessions.
Tafée Bowle 2 power levels: which one to use
Tafée names the five levels and publishes a 260°C ceiling, not a temperature for each level. Here's what they gave us.

Start a fresh pot low and click up a level as the flavor fades. Tafée suggests 5 to 7 draws per pot and a stir with the pick every two or three draws. Our temperature guide explains what each range brings out.
A 6000 mAh battery good for 20+ pots
The Bowle 2 packs a 6000 mAh internal battery. Tafée recommends recharging before it runs completely flat. Click both buttons together to check the charge: five blue LEDs means 90 to 100%, four means about 80%.

A full recharge took us about 2 hours over USB-C. Tafée quotes 110 minutes with a 5 V/3 A charger and recommends its own supplied or approved charging gear. Empty and remove the cup and take off the stem before charging, and don't vape while it charges.
The battery isn't user-replaceable, which is the main long-term trade-off, but Tafée handles battery service. Registering your Bowle gets you a 2-year warranty, and Tafée's own store adds a 14-day return window. In our testing, the battery powered through 20 or more pots on a single charge.
Pot swaps take 5 seconds, cleaning stays simple
The ceramic pot system is the Bowle 2's best usability feature. Each pot is a small white ceramic crucible with a stainless steel mesh screen at the bottom. Load one with ground cannabis, slide it into the stem, push the stem into the puck. Done. Always load the ceramic pot, never the empty stem opening.

The Potter+ grinder fills four pots at once as you grind, about 0.4 g in total. A few taps as you turn help spread the grind evenly. The plastic Potter+ works well enough, though we preferred the more consistent grind of the aluminum Potter upgrade.
Switch the Bowle off and let the stem cool for a moment, and the swap itself takes about 5 seconds. Pull the stem, pop out the spent pot, drop in a fresh one. Pre-loading a few pots means you rarely stop to repack during extended or social sessions.

Cleaning is minimal. Let everything cool, then gently brush out the pots after each session to keep residue from caking the screens. When residue builds up, take the gasket off the pot and clean the pots and detached stem with isopropyl alcohol. Keep mouthpieces, silicone parts, the cup and the plastic Potter+ out of the alcohol. Rinse, dry everything fully and refit the gasket. Never take apart the stem base or poke the oven screen in the puck.

The Tinymight 2 8.7 is the Bowle 2's closest rival in the on-demand convection space. Both deliver dense, terpene-rich vapor from pure convection heaters. The Tinymight 2 heats in about 5 seconds and offers both on-demand and session modes, giving it more flexibility.
The Bowle 2 heats faster and draws more openly. It gave us consistent results with very little technique, while the Tinymight 2 hits harder at peak power but demands real user skill, as we found in our Tinymight 2 review. Tafée Bowle 2 vs Venty
The Venty uses hybrid heating at the same flagship price point and remains our top-ranked portable. It heats in 20 seconds, offers up to 20 L/min of adjustable airflow, and fits in a jacket pocket at 252 g. The Bowle 2's puck alone weighs 246 g, and its disc shape makes it far less pocketable.
Where the Venty excels at effortless session-style use, the Bowle 2 gives you pure convection on demand. The Venty keeps the oven hot for several minutes per session. The Bowle 2 shuts its heater off after each draw, so it isn't holding a hot oven between hits.
At the same price point, these two complement more than they compete. The Venty is the better all-rounder and scores higher for vapor quality (9.5 vs 9.3). The Bowle 2 suits single fresh hits spread across an afternoon.

Its heater is convection-led, with a touch of conduction from the aluminum oven walls, and it runs in both session and on-demand modes. In our sessions it favored dense clouds over pure terpene expression. Cloud chasers tend to prefer the Frolic; the Bowle 2 wins on smoothness, consistency, and ease of use. Is the Tafée Bowle 2 worth it?

Flavor-first users who treat terpene purity as the top priority. The Bowle 2's convection system and inert ceramic pots produce some of the cleanest-tasting portable vapor available.
Home and patio vapers who don't need pocket carry. The Bowle 2 thrives on a coffee table, nightstand, or backyard deck, always ready for a quick hit without any warm-up ritual.
