The Yocan Hit packs an OLED display, single-degree temperature control, and a ceramic oven into a 173 g pen-style body. For a vaporizer at the bottom of our pricing scale, that feature list is unusually long.
In practice, those features don't overcome the Hit's core problems. The mouthpiece overheats and cracks, extraction is uneven without constant stirring, and vapor quality trails alternatives that cost only a little more. As of May 2026, VapeExperts places it in C-tier on our budget vaporizer rankings.
Yocan built its name on concentrate pens and 510 batteries, and the Hit was their first dry herb release in 2021. Yocan has since released the Hit 2 with an upgraded 1800 mAh battery and LCD color display, though the original remains available from third-party retailers. The Hit targets first-time buyers who want to try vaporizing cannabis before committing real money. The question is whether saving at the checkout costs you a better experience down the line.
Box includes the bare minimum
The package contains:
- Yocan Hit vaporizer
- USB-C charging cable
- Cleaning brush
- User manual
No spare screens, carrying pouch, or extra mouthpiece. Most budget portables at least include a backup gasket or screen at this price.

Zinc alloy body feels solid but the mouthpiece is the weak link
The Hit's zinc alloy body has a cylindrical shape that fits naturally in a closed fist. At 117 mm tall and 23 mm in diameter, it's noticeably slimmer than most portable vaporizers. The metallic finish looks clean out of the box.
The OLED screen sits mid-body and displays current temperature, target temperature, and battery level. It's crisp and readable indoors, and the side-mounted temperature buttons land right where your thumb rests naturally.
The magnetic mouthpiece snaps on and off cleanly and houses a built-in stirring tool: a thin poker attached to the underside of the cap. Lift, stir, re-seat. In theory it's clever. In practice, this mouthpiece is the Hit's weakest component. Multiple long-term users report cracking within weeks, and it gets uncomfortably hot during sessions above 200°C. Replacement mouthpieces are available from Yocan, but plan on needing them.
