Vestratto makes two torch vapes, and both hit harder than almost anything else without a battery. The Anvil (8.7) is our #2 butane vaporizer: a 65 g steel body, one long draw per heat cycle, and hits through glass that approach a desktop ball vape. The Tornado (8.4) is the hardest-hitting battery-free vape we've tested. It clears a bowl of about 0.3 g in one or two heat cycles and comes alive through water. If you buy one Vestratto, make it the Anvil. If you care most about flavor and an easy read on heat, the Tempest 2 (9.0) beats both.

About Vestratto
Vestratto is a Canadian maker based in Mississauga, Ontario. The Anvil came off a waiting list and went on general sale in May 2022. Alongside its two vapes, Vestratto sells replacement bowls and stems, 14 mm and 18 mm water-pipe adapters and its own FORGE induction heater.
Neither vape has a battery. A torch or an induction heater warms the CopperCore oven, which stores that heat and releases it as you draw. The Anvil is ready for dry use with its integrated stem. The Tornado comes as a WPA package ($208) for your glass, or as the Full Rig ($289) with its own stem, XL mouthpiece and spiral filter. Parts are model-specific: the Anvil's Integrated Stem isn't a supported fit for the Tornado oven.
Budget for heat on top: a quality single-flame torch at minimum, or the FORGE (Version 2 is $369 and runs on a Milwaukee M12 battery sold separately). Vestratto handles warranty claims case by case with no fixed term, and O-rings, gifts and secondhand purchases aren't covered.
