The 510 g body pairs aluminum with a sturdy glass bubbler
The Peak Pro's aluminum base with silicone accents houses the 1300 mAh battery and Bluetooth module. At 510 g fully assembled (178 × 76 × 76 mm), it sits comfortably on a coffee table without feeling fragile. It's too large for a pocket, though.

The Glass 2.0 bubbler connects securely on top. Laser-cut percolator slots at its base run the vapor through water before it reaches your lips, and the glass feels thick and confidence-inspiring.
The 3DXL chamber twists into the base and unscrews for cleaning or swaps. A single front button runs everything, and haptic vibration tells you when the chamber is ready, so you don't need to watch the LED ring.
Real-time temp regulation holds your set point
The Peak Pro uses conduction heating through traces in the 3DXL chamber's ceramic sidewalls, and Puffco puts heat-up at about 20 seconds. The vape adjusts power in real time to hold your chosen temperature through the draw.
Four button-selectable factory profiles cover the core dabbing range: Blue 254°C, Green 266°C, Red 277°C and White 302°C. The Puffco Connect app lets you rewrite any of them, anywhere from 204°C to 340°C in 1°C steps. That makes it easy to fine-tune for specific concentrate types like live resin, rosin or shatter.

Click the button 5 times and Intensity mode kicks in, which is built for dry hits with no water in the glass. Boost is separate: double-click once the chamber is at temperature to raise the heat and stretch the session. The app lets you set the size of that bump. For more vapor, the app's Vapor Control setting steps from Standard through High and Max up to XL, which needs the 3DXL chamber.
The 3DXL bowl is 78% larger than the standard 3D chamber, and Puffco says the extra depth cuts down on spillover. It handles small to medium loads comfortably.
Battery lasts around 30 to 40 dabs per charge
Puffco's support page puts the battery at about 30 heating cycles per charge, while its product page advertises an average of 40 dabs. Hotter profiles, bigger loads and frequent Boost use all drain it faster.
Charging takes about two hours via USB-C. The Peak Pro also charges wirelessly on a Qi pad, and pass-through charging lets you dab while plugged in. Add Puffco's Power Dock (sold separately) and switch on Ready Mode in the app. It then starts heating your selected profile the moment you lift the vape off the dock.

One button runs 4 presets and 3 bonus modes
Single-button operation makes the Peak Pro approachable for first-time dabbers. Hold the button for three seconds to power on, click through the 4 color-coded profiles, then double-click to start heating. The vape flashes and vibrates twice when it reaches temperature, signaling you to start drawing. Intensity mode (5 clicks), Stealth mode (4 clicks) and Boost add versatility without the app, and a press and hold cancels the session.
The XL Joystick carb cap adds directional airflow control, an interactive touch we really enjoyed. Pushing the joystick toward the chamber edges steers air across concentrate pooled in the corners. Earlier Peak Pro kits shipped with a plain carb cap and the standard 3D chamber, and the current kit replaces both.

Cleaning needs regular attention for best results. Swab the bowl with a cotton swab after every session while it's still warm. For a deep clean (weekly if you dab daily), let it cool and remove the cap. Then unscrew the chamber for a 20-minute soak in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. Never rinse the chamber with water. The app turns 4 presets into custom profiles
The Puffco Connect app transforms the Peak Pro from a simple 4-preset eRig into a fully customizable setup. Set each profile's temperature, session duration and vapor production, then name it. Save it to one of the four onboard slots for app-free access later. Want more than four? Sign in with a Puffco account and you can save extra profiles in the app.
The live temperature display is the standout feature. Watching the chamber's real-time reading hold at your target, with a countdown timer ticking, tells you exactly where your session stands. LED color customization, usage tracking and over-the-air firmware updates round out the software.

On iOS, Puffco runs the app through the Path Browser at puffco.app, and Android has the Puffco Connect app. The official app instructions walk through both. It's optional for everyday use: the 4 onboard profiles and button modes give you a complete session without ever pairing your phone. You'll need it to edit profiles and install updates, though. And once you try custom profiles dialed in for your favorite concentrate, the factory settings feel limiting.

Peak Pro vs. Dr. Dabber Switch 2
The Dr. Dabber Switch 2 8.0 gave us the best vapor of any eRig we've tested. It uses induction heating with an IR temperature sensor and a removable quartz insert instead of a ceramic atomizer. Quartz is fragile, so a drop can mean buying a new insert. Dr. Dabber rates the battery for up to 30 cycles, though our sessions ran closer to 12 to 15 per charge.

Peak Pro vs. Puffco New Peak
The Puffco New Peak 8.0 is the cheaper, simpler sibling. It shares the same aesthetic DNA and regulates temperature in real time too, but it uses its own smaller Peak 3D chamber (not 3DXL). Puffco rates it at 35 cycles per charge on the green setting, right in the range of the Pro's 30 to 40.
