Vapor and flavor
The Lobo scores 8.8 for vapor against 8.5, and its convection-led heater works through a full oven with no stirring. After a complete session at 221°C, our spent cannabis came out evenly dark brown. Around 180°C, terpene clarity carries the session. Past 210°C, the dimpled glass stem gets warm, and the Lobo is at its best through a bubbler or water pipe.
The Fury 3 heats from the oven walls and the air at once, giving dense vapor from a 0.2 g load. The XL glass stem gives a moderate, slow pull. Above 200°C, the standard stem can feel warm too, so the Baller stem or water pipe adapter is a smart add-on. Our temperature guide explains what each range pulls out.
Size, build and daily use
The Fury 3 leads on ease of use (9.0 against 8.5), build (8.2 against 7.8) and portability (9.3 against 8.6). At 91 × 52 × 27 mm, it closes into one hand and sits in a front pocket. Three buttons, a small OLED screen and a haptic buzz make it heat, draw, done. A hardened clearcoat replaces the older rubbery finish.
The Lobo is the lighter of the two, at 150 g without glass against 159 g, and a touch shorter at 89 mm against 91 mm. It still scores lower for portability, because the glass-only mouthpieces make it more fragile in a pocket. Its budget build shows in a few places: the LCD washes out in sunlight, and the threaded battery door can slip or overtighten. The session timer also starts at power-on, before the oven reaches temperature. Hold Power and Plus to set the timer to 4 minutes or more, and heat-up no longer cuts your draws short.
Battery and charging
Here the Lobo pulls back ground, because its 18650 is bigger and swaps in seconds. Carry a charged cell in a case and a flat battery never ends your day. When the cell fades after years, you replace an 18650, not the vape.
On one charge the Lobo gave us 10 sessions against about 6 for the Fury 3. Both fill over USB-C, in 75 to 90 minutes on the Fury 3 and about 90 minutes on the Lobo.
The Fury 3's cell is sealed, and capacity will fade with no way to swap it. It does let you vape on the cable once the battery sits above 20%. Healthy Rips' manual says never to charge it overnight or unattended.
Value and warranty
At US list price the Fury 3 is $40 cheaper ($119 against $159), and it scores 9.2 for value against 9.0. Check the live prices above, because a Lobo deal can shrink that gap. The Fury 3's box includes an extra XL glass stem and one dosing capsule. The Lobo ships with a dimpled stem, a dosing capsule and a concentrate pad, but no wall plug. Its two-year warranty is the longer promise, and POTV adds a 100-day return offer on qualifying purchases.
Cleaning
Both clean up quickly. Let the vape cool, brush out the spent cannabis, and wipe the oven with a swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol, never letting liquid drip into the chamber. Dosing capsules keep either oven far cleaner between deep cleans. The Fury 3's glass takes the same alcohol swab, and once a week you pull its mouthpiece, O-ring and screen for a deeper clean. Wash the Lobo's dimpled stem with warm water and mild dish soap or isopropyl alcohol, never pushing a tool inside, and run one empty session at 221°C once everything is dry.
